YMCA vs 24 Hour Fitness- which is better?
We currently have a 24 hour fitness membership but just went to the Y today to sign up our daughter for swim lessons. It looks to be pretty similar. Not as much equipment and of course not open as late, but other than that looks about the same or better. The childcare hours are practically identical, the cost of the Y would be about $5 more a month; but the Y has a year round (heated in winter) outdoor pool- that’s really catching my eye! Plus swim lessons and any other activity would be halfprice if we sign up for the facility membership (as opposed to the program membership we got in order to get her lessons- this means you can do the programs, but not have access to the equipment, pool, etc)
Has anyone had memberships at both of these places? What are your feelings on comparing the two? Thanks 
24 hour fitness it good for me because I work out between 5 and 7 hours a day so i could go whenever i wnat
