Advice on where to live in London?
I’m planning on moving to London and although I go there a lot I don’t know much about where is nice to live. I need to be as close to Brighton as possible by car so preferably in easy reach of main roads (hopefully avoiding the M25).
Needs to be on a tube line as I will be going to central everyday.
Important things:
- low crime rate
- young professional kind of area
- no night time noise!
- at least one big park close to my house
- need to have a garden, parking and a 1/2 bed house for around £1000-£1500 pcm
- needs to have a good gym in the area (not LA Fitness)
Any help or advice would be great, or if anyone knows a website that could help??
Thanks!
Rather than worry about the tube I’d suggest aiming to live in the outer southern London suburbs with good fast rail services into London and Brighton. E.g. Croydon (the southern part is quite nice),
