I own a condo. Do I have to notify the associaton if I am going to rent a bedroom out?
I got a letter in the mail saying that the association has a policy that if I want to rent out the condo, I have to submit an application to the association with a fee for a background check on the possible tenant. The person will get a mailbox key, a key to the pool/fitness center, and a pass card to the front gate. Does this apply if I am renting out a bedroom but I am still living there?
I would contact the association for more details. I would most likely submit the application so they are able to have access to the other ammentities.
