First of all, the Sole brand name itself is an advantage as Sole is generally seen as a quality brand.
Sole started out supplying their treadmills to the commercial market like Hilton hotels before moving into the home treadmill market.
Sole is known for making treadmills with industrial grade parts (ultra high torque motors, heavy duty flywheels, large 2.75″ rollers, copper ground wires for each roller to reduce static, and all steel welded frames.)
They’re also known for extra long warranties.
This isn’t surprising since the quality of these machines is so high, the company probably doesn’t have to service their treadmills very often. So they can afford to offer the longer warranties than many other brands

- 15% Incline – Most treadmills under $1000 only give you 10 – 12% incline so this is a great feature if you like building high inclines into your workout.
- Speed & Incline Controls on the Handrail – This makes it easy to change your speed an incline without reaching up to the console and breaking your stride.
- High 325 lb User Weight Capacity – This again is higher than you get with other treadmills under $1000. It gives the treadmill a much more stable feel than you’d expect for an economy unit.

Are there any Disadvantages?

Plus the deck is solid but still not as strong as the higher end Sole’s Whisper Decks and only covered under warranty for 3 years instead of a lifetime.
And while the 55″ long deck is good for most people, runners or taller users may want a longer decks found of the S77 and F85.

The Sole F63 treadmill offers great construction value for under $1000. Although it doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles of other brands and it’s still a starter machine – for the price it’s a great budget buy.
