EXERCISEEEEEEE?????????????????????
i want to lose 20+ lbs therefore i need to exercise like 90 minutes a day, but there’s a few problems- how can i overcome them
I live in an apartment and don’t have any fitness machine/equipment, not even dumbbells [i have a special k ball but it weighs probably only like a pound :]. my parents wont let me out and besides it’s freezing [i live in canada]!
i get 5 hours of exercise per week [soccer, dance, gym class...] but that’s about it.
what can i do at home that will make me break a sweat?
castus: i can’t get wii, my parents don’t want to buy it because it costs a lot of money apparently, and they hate video games :.
I am an expert when it comes to dealing with excersise and fitness. I just wrote a paper on it in school and I want to be a fitness trainer when I grow up. Here is what I do every night…there are sure to help…
1.) Leg Drops- AB WORKOUT
Lay on your back with your legs at a 45 degree angle from the floor up. Raise you head up about so you can see your legs and overlook your stomach. Slowly counting each time raise and lower your legs only to 45 degrees! Up and down and after a while you will feel a huge burn in your abs. The key to this workout is to keep your head raised as much as possible. The farther you keep your head up the more you will feel the burn and lose more calories! I do it 50 times a night but that kills really bad. I would suggest for a starter of doing it doing 20 in 2 sets. So do 20. Rest. 20. Rest. Done.
2.) Push Ups- (TRICEP AND BICEP WORKOUT)
Push ups are the greatest workout for someone who doesn’t have equipment. I do them everynight. The key to getting it as a good workout though is to do it right. First get in the push up position. Make sure that your back is flat and that if you could put a cup on your back you could balance it. Slowly go down and raise back up. Make sure that your back is staying straight at all times and that you have your nose almost touching the ground. If you want you can put a 6 inch block underneath you to make it easier. Make sure that you elbows are going all the way down…you’ll feel the burn a lot more. I do it 20 times a night but I would suggest 10. Rest. 10. Rest. MAKE SURE THEY ARE QUALITY ONES. Speed isn’t everything. Just make them good quality and good technique formation.
I hoped this helped! I do this every night before I get my shower and go to bed. Let me know if you need anything else!!! Good luck and burn some calories!!! Please keep in touch and let me know how everything is going
