In early August you might find that the people around you aren’t on very good form. There are things bothering them, that they find it difficult to discuss. From the point of view of health and fitness, in August you can really sort yourself out. Giving up behaviours that are doing you no good, and also fine-tuning your diet.

Yet nothing is entirely easy. The moment Venus enters Libra it makes a conjunction to Saturn, and you may be called on to abandon a habit that you’re very fond of, that might have been part of your life for years and years. It might feel painful, but once you take the plunge you’ll know for sure that you’re doing the right thing.

On August 9 or 10 there’s a New Moon, in the domestic sector of your solar chart. Over the next fortnight, until the Full Moon on August 24, your home and family could take up a lot of your time, but probably for all the right reasons. You can find real security, a kind of security that in the past had eluded you.

Finishing up with relationships, and over the month Venus is moving towards a sizzling conjunction with Venus. Your sex appeal will be at the top of the range, and it’s a great time for making romantic advances. If you’re interested, this conjunction reaches peak strength on August 20, and the kind of person you’re attracting is someone physical, who has strong likes and dislikes.
