Fitness Tips Please for an overweight woman!?

My job involves walking, so I walk an average of 4 hours a day sometimes more, walking dogs.

I’m overweight, I gained all of my weight in university and now that I’m out of university I’m having a hard time losing weight. I gained all of my weight from eating pasta, because I was low on cash and it was the cheapest thing I could find.

I know i’m out of shape outside of walking, because running I can only do fora maximum of five minutes at a time before I give up. I used to run more but with the extra weight its more painful rather than anything.
What are some tips for someone bigger to try to get fit without hurting myself, as I need my body for my income, I can’t be hurting like crazy while trying to hold back my more aggressive dogs.

I’ve cut pasta out of my diet, but any other ideas or tips would be great.

Some more common ways are:

•Brisk walking
•Gardening / mowing the lawn
•Swimming
•Dancing
•Cycling
•Yoga or Pilates
•Working out in a gym.
•Walking up the stairs – don’t take the elevator
But find an exercise that you enjoy and go that extra mile, do that extra bit, that’s when you will best for your body, when it starts to burn that’s when you are burning those calories and losing weight.
