When a gym is co-ed and a separate room is set up for women-only,?
are men being forced to subsidize women’s insecurities (those who have a problem working out in front of men)? Think about it. In these co-ed gyms with women-only workout rooms, the ONLY reason you cannot enter is because of your gender. Isn’t this sex discrimination? My opinion is that if I pay my gym dues I should be able to go anywhere except the locker rooms. I don’t have a problem with all women clubs because I am not paying anything towards that. I asked LA Fitness if any women had ever asked for a women-room and they said yes but LA Fitness said that they do no tolerate or practice gender discrimination at anytime. Historically, men have mistreated women and whites have mistreated blacks so it seems that it’s politically correct to discriminate against these groups. At South Mountain Community College in Phoenix AZ there is a Black Student Club. I wonder if it would be a problem for whites to form the White Student Club.
I have never seen or heard of a separate room been set-up for women at co-ed gyms. It does sound very sexist to me. I gym quite often and I have never had a problem with the fact that there are men gyming next to me.
If you guys aren’t happy with this set-up you should raise your concerns with the parties concerned otherwise these kinds of things will keep on happing
