Friend got a better deal than me, need advice..?
So I’ve been a member of a local 24 hr fitness gym for a good while now. I pay 50 bucks for a membership to all of their clubs. My friend just got the same type of membership at a different 24 hour fitness location for $40. 24 hr fitness charges enrollment fees so I can’t just end my membership at my club and go to the one my friend goes to without paying those enrollment fees. How should I try to get my club to lower my monthly payment? What would be the best thing to say? Thanks!
These are franchises – the owner of your friend’s 24 HR Fitness may have decided to use a different pricing structure – or he may have been running a special.
I doubt your club will drop the price – but go ahead and ask – all they can do is say no
